Many tasks in Toloka ask crowd performers to upload photos. For example, mobile users doing field tasks take pictures of shop signs, billboards, or buildings. If you’ve ever collected images this way, you know how the review process goes — you have to download all of the images in order to check any of them. But not anymore! With the new Live Gallery, you can view images instantly.

The issue

When you launch a project for collecting photos, it’s important to start checking the submitted images as soon as possible to identify any mistakes and improve the task instructions if necessary. Having to download all of the images can really slow things down — so being able to view image submissions instantaneously goes a long way.

The handy improvement

Our new live preview gallery lets you do just that – view the images in the post-acceptance interface without downloading anything. You can easily flip through the uploaded images, explore every image from different angles, and rotate 180 degrees. Fullscreen and zoom-in features will be added soon to make for a smooth and totally hassle-free experience.

Another great thing is that you don’t need to do anything for this to work. If you use field.media in your task interface configuration, you already have access to our live gallery in the post-acceptance interface. Go take a look!
